About

Dawn Singh Bio

In the mid 1980’s when entrepreneurship was an exciting, new concept, Dawn Singh started a meeting and conference planning business in Madison, Wisconsin. During the course of implementing a project, she learned the value of marketing and publicity that lead to a successful event. Clients included the State of Wisconsin and Olympian Bruce Jenner among others. She worked closely with the Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau who referred conference planners to her for local management of events.

An unexpected five-year detour to Singapore for her husband’s job put self-employment on the back burner temporarily, but on her return to the US in the mid 90’s, Ms. Singh re-started her business specializing in public relations with an emphasis on live music and theatre.

Located in Boston since 2000, Dawn Singh Publicity has an enormous and impressive client list including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the producer for Dr. Maya Angelou, the Jazz Journalists Association and the Japan Society of Boston.

Since 2003, Dawn Singh Publicity has been the public relations representative for the Tanglewood Jazz Festival produced by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
